“ទម្លាយរបាំងស្បែក”គឺជាល្ខោនសម្រួលជាភាសាខ្មែរចេញពីសៀវភៅដែលមានចំណងជើងស្ដែងពីជីវិតតួអង្គរបស់ ភូ ស្សង់បាទីស៍្ត។ ក្នុងការសម្តែងទោលមួយនេះ យើងនឹងតាមដានពីដំណើរផ្សងព្រេងរបស់បុរសស្រលាញ់បុរសជនជាតិខ្មែរ-ចិនម្នាក់ ដែលកើតនៅប្រទេសបារាំង ដែលត្រួសត្រាយផ្លូវក្នុងការស្វែងរកខ្លួនឯង និងរៀនរស់នៅជាមួយស្បែករបស់ខ្លួន និងពិភពនៃអ្នកស្រលាញ់ភេទដូចគ្នា ព្រមទាំងអាស៊ី។ អ្នកប្រែសម្រួល៖ សូ ភីណា (គ្រឹះស្ថានបោះពុម្ពកម្ពុមេរា)

គាត់បាននិពន្ធ និងដឹកនាំល្ខោនកំណាព្យរបស់គាត់ជាភាសាខ្មែរ គឺ “អនិច្ចាប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ” និង “រឿងនិទានស្នេហ៍ចន្ទ”។

🎙 This performance follows a literary talk with the author, which will take place on Thursday, June 19 at 6:30 PM at the Alliance Française of Siem Reap (see dedicated event for more information : https://www.facebook.com/share/16ho57PYr5/).

“Coming Out of My Skin” is a stage adaptation in Khmer of the book by Jean-Baptiste Phou. In this solo performance, we follow the adventures of a Cambodian-Chinese gay man born in France navigating the journey of self-discovery and learning to inhabit his skin and the world while queer and Asian. Translation to Khmer: SO Phina (Kampu Mera Edition)

🖋 Artists’ Biographies:

HENG Seyhassneth, artist and actor.
Seyhassneth has written and directed performances blending poetry, theatre, and song, including The Soul of Preah Vihear Temple and The Romance of the Moon Angel.

Jean-Baptiste PHOU, writer and artist.

Jean-Baptiste is the author of Cambodia, Here I Am (L’Asiathèque, 2017), Coming Out of My Skin (Seuil, 2024), and 80 Words from Cambodia (L’Asiathèque, 2024).
