📚✨ Grand Final of the Reading Aloud Competition – 2nd edition ✨📚

The Alliance Française in Siem Reap is delighted to invite you to the Grand Final of the 2nd edition of its Inter-School Reading Aloud Competition for French-speaking schools in Siem Reap, on Saturday 27 June 2026 from 5.30 pm at the Rose Apple Square Auditorium.

This event celebrates reading, oral expression and the French language through performances by young learners, adults and Cambodian teachers committed to learning and teaching French. The finalists will represent their schools before a jury and an audience invited to share a moment of culture and conviviality.

This year’s event takes on special significance as Cambodia is set to host the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026, reflecting the vitality of the French language and the Francophonie within the Kingdom.

🎤 The event will be presented in French and Khmer, so that as many people as possible can enjoy the evening to the full. No knowledge of French is required to attend the event.

🥂 A drinks reception will be held after the Final, courtesy of École Sala Baï.
